Even on a gloomy, rainy day, Post Falls Brewing Company in Post Falls, Idaho brought the fun during the Tots Crew's visit!
With a beer list about a mile long, you're sure to find something you love!
The Tots Crew had the pleasure of visiting Post Falls Brewing Company the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was a super gross day outside but that certainly didn't stop us. We knew our turkey hangovers needed some delicious local brews and this was just the stop to satisfy our craving. To tell you the truth, a visit to Post Falls Brewing had been a long time coming because every.single.year. when we traveled over to Coeur d'Alene for Thanksgiving, we had intended to make a an appearance, and yet, something always got in the way. Welp, in 2021 we were finally successful!! Let me tell you all about it.
Post Falls Brewing is located right along the beautiful Spokane River. Although when we visited it was freezing cold and rainy, we simply can't wait to come back this summer to enjoy their awesome patio to soak up some sunshine while taking in their great views. We got to Post Falls Brewing just after they opened for the day and the vibe was already hopping. And to our surprise and delight, there were a bunch of other tots already there! During the time that we visited there, no joke, must have been 15 more kiddos that joined in on the fun.
We immediately felt right at home at Post Falls Brewing as no one batted an eye to see that we were at a brewery with our children - *gasp*! We grabbed a nice, large, standard-height table which provided a ton of space for the kiddos to color and work on their tot activities. A few of our good friends, with their tots, even joined us shortly after we arrived and I'm happy to report that all grown-ups and children alike had an awesome time. It's a really lively atmosphere at Post Falls Brewing so you don't need to worry about your kids staying super quiet. There's usually sports on the TVs anyways so the adults are far louder that the kiddos could ever even hope to be!
Pi-Daho Pizza is often onsite at Post Falls Brewing so be sure to visit them. Math jokes aside (I see what you guys did there) their food is pretty darn out of this world - and the kids loved it! Especially the Mac 'n Cheese Wedges which were absolute heaven and the Breadstick Bites with Beer Cheese (which even uses Post Falls Brewing beer.) Bonus points that these were super sharable and easy for those tiny tot hands to handle. And no, I didn't get a photo because these wedges and bites were gone in a flash!
I guess I should actually talk about the beer now. THE VARIETY IS INSANE!!! They had a flight of five IPAs alone and then everything ranging from ambers, stouts, sours, lagers, and shandys. They also have seltzer and ciders. Everything that we had was sensational. Tots Mom loved the Raspberry Wheat and the Cranberry Sour (seasonal) and Tots Dad was all about the Stoney MacGuyver IPA. But you really can't go wrong. They have some great daily specials so be sure to check the "Specials Board" when you arrive!
The folks at Post Falls Brewing are super sweet and very knowledgeable about their beer. If you're undecided, as I certainly was, ask for their recommendations and they are happy to bring you a few samples to try. Even though we were "out of towners," I can't stress enough how 'at home' we felt. The kids had a great time and we could have spent the whole day here!
P.S. Be sure to check out their swag - super cute and cool stuff! I'll take one of everything in my size, please.
Thanks, Post Falls Brewing Company! Can't wait to see y'all again this July!
